Mike Trout lived up to expectations as the best player in baseball by leading the American League to victory and winning the MVP award for the evening. It was Derek Jeter night and Trout delivered by driving the Captain in with a first inning triple. He also broke the tie with an RBI producing double. By winning the MVP award Trout was able to choose between a new Chevy Truck or a Corvette. Since he recently bought his dad a new truck he decided to go with the Vette (so he could race bench coach Dino Ebel who loves Corvettes).

MLB posted this Statcast video which shows how Trout broke over 20MPH as he rounded the bases.
