Not only did Mike Trout hit a home run and drive in two runs against Houston last night (Friday, April 4), he also officially signed his 6 year/$144.5 million extension. This deal means that Trout will be playing for the Angels for the next 7 years and that he will be making $33.25 million a year in 2018, 2019, and 2020. Congrats Mike! This is one of the few giant contracts that a player will live up to.
