Mike Trout’s Grand Slam Against Chris Sale

Down by four in the eighth inning Mike Trout came to the plate with the bases loaded. Down two strikes against Chris Sale, one of the best pitchers in the league, Trout blasted a grand slam to tie the game. You have to see the video and his great post-game interview.

It didn’t make much sense for Sale to be in the game at that point with no outs and the bases loaded. Apparently he convinced his manager to leave him in which proved to be a mistake. After he was taken out of the game, Sale proved he knew how to use a bat as well as he let out his anger in the dugout.
