Recapping Trout’s 2014 Postseason

The 2014 Postseason was less than what the Angels or Mike Trout could have hoped for.  The Angels were swept in the ALDS, losing three games in a row to the Kansas City Royals.  The Angels offense tends to rise and fall with Mike Trout and just a quick look at Trout’s offensive stats could give an indication how the team faired.

Trout had only one hit over 14 at bats.  He made contact with his first hit in the final game of the series; a home run in the first inning.  The home run was Trout’s only hit, only run and only RBI of the series.

In an apropos moment, Greg Holland struck Trout out to end the game.
