The First Walk-Off
Mike Trout belted his first walk-off home run last night against the Tampa Bay Rays. Considering that Trout has been in a slump lately this was simply electric.
Millville Night at Citizens Bank Park
Mike Trout is from Millville, New Jersey and grew up less than an hour from Philadelphia. Last night was the first time he has played a professional game against the Phillies in Philadelpha and his home town turned out in droves. It’s estimated that between 4,000 – 8,000 people from Millville came to the game and attendance at the stadium increased by about 12,000 over a typical Tuesday night.
