This is video of Mike Trout’s first major league hit from three years ago today. The hit came against Michael Pineda of the Seattle Mariners and produced a run as Mark Trumbo was able to score from third. The hit was an infield hit to the pitcher and was probably only scored as a run because of Trout’s speed.

Keep your ears open as the Angels broadcaster calls him “Mark Trout”.
