MLB released a ride-along interview with Mike Trout as he prepares for the season at Spring Training in Arizona. The discuss what it’s like to be a teammate with Shohei Ohtani, the toughest pitcher in the league and the pitch he has the toughest time with. It’s a great watch.

Two Seven Turns 27

Mike Trout celebrated his twenty seventh birthday in a special way. Instead of setting up a private booth at a club or buying a new car he took time out of his schedule to visit kids at a local children’s hospital with a couple of his teammates. Here are some great videos and photos of Trout showing what kind of role model an athlete can be.

2018 All-Star Recap

Mike Trout once again put on a show in the All Star Game.  This was Trout’s seventh straight appearance and the sixth time he was voted in as a starter.  Inexplicably, despite being the best player in the game, he only received the fourth most votes.

The FOX broadcast did a great job of highlighting Trout by creating a hilarious weather report and then micing him up in the second inning.

A-Rod and Trout Discuss Hitting

ESPN posted a great interview with Alex Rodriguez talking baseball with Mike Trout. They discuss shifting and how to bring more personality to the game. They end with a long discussion on Trout’s pregame routine and how he works on his hitting. This is one of the best interviews you will see with Mike Trout a really nice job by A-Rod.

Mike Trout’s 26th Birthday Bash

Mike Trout’s only added to his legend by putting on a show for his 26th birthday. The party started before the game when his teammates gave him their traditional birthday shower. It looks like he got hit with some eggs, an Icee, hot sauce and some dry ice.

Then in the game Mike Trout achieved his 1,000 career hit. He’s only the 10th player in American League history to reach the feat before his age 26 season.

If that wasn’t enough he followed with his typical trend of hitting a home run on his birthday. This is the fourth time in six years that Thunder Trout has gone yard to celebrate his big day. He’s the youngest player to achieve the feat. He’s just two dingers behind Alex Rodriguez for most birthday home runs (6).
